The vice president of the company is Jennifer McCormick. Since 1991, Ms. McCormick has been a medical biller specializing in not only internal medicine, but critical care, physical therapy, infectious diseases, and pulmonary medicine; just to name a few. Ms. McCormick oversees all the billing done in our office on our innovative software.
The office manager of the company is Mary Scafuri. In 1997, Ms. Scafuri graduated St. John's Law School. Thereafter, she was admitted to practice law in both New York and New Jersey specializing in collections. Now, for Forest Avenue Billing Corp., she oversees the collection of patient's outstanding claims.
Ms. McCormick and Ms. Scafuri make an award winning team. Together, they will assist you in developing a customized super bill that meets the needs of your individual practice. Also, they will design various documents needed to collect a patient's correct demographics and insurance information.
After each visit, Ms. McCormick and Ms. Scafuri review the super bill and corresponding documents, re-check the patient's insurance coverage and prepare a "clean" claim. Weekly all claims are transmitted to their respective insurance company. Therefore, as a client you will receive a payment from each major medical insurance company weekly providing a consistent cash flow.
Monthly they meet with each client and review their aging report. A plan of action is discussed and put into effect to make sure all co payments, deductibles, or other outstanding debts, are paid in full. Notably, reporting to credit agencies or lawsuits are options that can be pursued.
Ms. McCormick and Ms. Scafuri also provide services to credential doctors with any insurance companies.
